LISTEN: After long hiatus, Djinee returns with love ballad

He hasn’t put out any song in a minute but apparently he’s been working on new music.

Djinee, responsible for one of the most iconic love songs of the past decade, has made a comeback with a melodious love ballad.

On ‘Nwanyi Oma’, Djinee makes the promise of love; unconditionally and unwavering.

He sings: If you lost, I will find you. If you fall, I will catch you. Girl I swear, I’l be with you all my life. Till my last breath I’ll call you, Nwanyi Oma.

Djinee said he poured his “heart and soul into this record” and that he feels refreshed and armed with many stories to share through future recordings.

“I am excited and scared at the same time. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this record,” he said.
