Michael Adeyinka, the Nigerian disc jockey otherwise known as DJ Tunez, has put out a new song titled ‘Blessings’.
In the new track — released in the early hours of Friday — Tunez enlisted the musical expertise of heavyweights Wizkid, Wande Coal, and industry newbie Gimba.
‘Blessings’ sees the singers expressing their gratitude to God for the favour, love, and protection.
“I dey pray for your blessings/ Everyday man dey pray for your blessings/ Me no dey watch another man’s blessings/ I no dey let what another do come stress me,” Wizkid sings.
“Everyday of my life say na flexing/ I’ve been on the road / Jah protect me/ And the weapon wey dey form no dey near me/ I make great things I know/ I live with the choice I make on my own/ No regret we dey live life/ Everyday we pray for the good life.”
The song was proudced by DJ Tunez , Smeez & D3an.
Tunez, the American-based disc jockey, has served as Wizkid’s official DJ for the past five years.
He gained popularity after ‘Iskaba’, his first production with Wande Coal.
He has collaborated with other acts such as Sarz, Burna Boy, Busiswa, Reekado Banks, Damibliz, Omah Lay, and many more.
