DJ Switch, the Nigerian disc jockey and activist, has delivered ‘Link Up,’ a song with suggestive lyrics and visuals.

In ‘Link Up,’ DJ Switch sings about a romantic interest referred to as “girl,” hinting at a same-sex relationship. The lyrics also describe a thrilling sexual experience.

“So f**k what you are telling me/ I need like to kele wey go mellow me/ Sipping on your juice with two big Hennessy/ Girl run me down gat steady electricity/ You ain’t missing nothing out there/ F**k a steady playing out there/ Girlie O/ Let me take you to higher places/ Come let me give you blessings,” she sings.

“You can call me brother o/ If it makes you feel good my sister o/ Tongue lash make you cream all over/ Me steady locking you down olopa/ I shun for your matter o/ Many guys wanna be your owner o/ Girl I wanna be your flex/ Let a man know we can be right.”

The music video opens with DJ Switch on a call and invites a guy to come over to meet a woman.

The video then shifts to scenes of DJ Switch and a female video vixen exchanging suggestive glances, dancing intimately, and striking affectionate poses.

Born Catherine Udeh, DJ Switch gained popularity for filming the 2020 EndSARS protests at the Lekki tollgate. The disc jockey then went into hiding due to alleged threats.
