Obianuju Catherine Udeh, the disc jockey popularly known as DJ Switch, has refuted claims that she was arrested in Lagos.
There were rumours earlier on Thursday that Switch was arrested for alleged assault.
But in a lengthy post on X, Udeh said the reports were false. She also threatened to sue the rumour peddlers.
”I was woken up by a barrage of calls and text this morning. I wondered why because I know today is not my birthday. Only to find that I, have been arrested,” she wrote.

DJ Switch has been in the public eye in the past year after she filmed the infamous shooting of unarmed protesters in Lekki on October 20, 2020.
She had also gone into hiding over alleged threats to her life.
