DJ Kaywise, the Nigerian disc jockey, has spoken about his years-long family feud — after his recent disturbing post.
On Wednesday, the DJ shared a cryptic post on his Instagram page.
He said he had done his best and would be “ending it all” — sparking concerns on social media that he might be contemplating suicide.
A blog earlier claimed the DJ’s family advised him to end his relationship with his girlfriend, which he refused.
In August, Kaywise’s girlfriend accused his twin brother of attempting to kidnap her and threatening her life.
Addressing the issue on Wednesday night, the DJ said the “malicious blog” had published false allegations about him.
He expressed disappointment that none of his family members had stepped forward to “clear the air”.
He said he does not support tarnishing another person’s reputation just for the sake of family reconciliation.
Kaywise reaffirmed his love for his girlfriend, whom he described as his “queen”.
He also criticised individuals for attempting to associate her with “weird things”.
“Some malicious blog tagged me suicidal, bewitched, kidnapped and also went as far as saying that I slapped my mother,” he said.
“Eight months down the line, not one of my family members came out to clear the air.
“As sensitive as this is, I am not one to encourage bad things. You cannot want to settle with your own child at the detriment of another person’s reputation.
“And for some of you that looked at someone so sweet and were trying to associate her with all these weird things, dey play! That is my queen right there.”
