DJ Cuppy, the Nigerian disc jockey, has revealed that Femi Otedola, her billionaire father, raised her to be “a modern-day man”.
In a recent post via X, Cuppy, born Florence Otedola, gave a shoutout to her father for her upbringing.
The 31-year-old disc jockey implied that even though she is his daughter, she didn’t receive the usual training given to a female child.
“Shoutout to Femi Otedola for raising me to be a modern-day man even though I am his daughter,” she wrote.

She is also an artiste with songs like ‘Gelato’, ‘Green Light’, ‘Vybe’, and ‘Currency’.
In October 2021, the singer commenced her master’s degree programme in African Studies at Oxford University.
She graduated from the university in March 2023.
In December 2022, she revealed that she got engaged to Ryan Taylor, the UK boxer, after 25 days of meeting him.
However, in July 2023, the pair sparked rumours they were no longer together. Cuppy later opened up about the failed relationship.
Earlier this year, Cuppy said it is terrible being a single and childless woman in her thirties.
