DJ Cuppy, the Nigerian disc jockey, has bagged her third degree and second master’s (MSc) from the University of Oxford, England.
In the Instagram post in the early hours of Thursday, Cuppy wrote: “I’m a Third Degree HOTTER! 🔥🎓 Oxford University MSc done!!!.”
Cuppy’s graduation ceremony was held at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford.
It was attended by her parents, other family members, and Ryan Taylor, her fiance.
Born Florence Otedola, the 30-year-old entertainer also shared a copy of her certificate on social media.
In October 2021, the singer commenced her master’s degree programme in African Studies at Oxford University.
Last September, Cuppy expressed her excitement after she had completed her thesis, which is the required academic research work.
She said although she did not get merit or distinction, she is glad to have passed the thesis.
The DJ also said she is proud to have achieved the academic feat.
“Got my thesis result, which classifies my MSc degree… I didn’t get a merit or a distinction, but I passed!!! After a tough year, I can officially say I am now a graduate from @UniofOxford. And I am bloody proud of myself… To God be the glory!” she wrote then.
Cuppy had on different occasions talked about her struggles with her study at the institution.
