A physically challenged man in a wheelchair is among those pining after Davido’s N20 million grant.
Davido earlier announced he was setting aside N20 million for 20 Nigerians with the best business ideas.
In reaction to the singer’s giveaway announcement, many Nigerians have been pitching their business plans and sharing their hustles with the Afropop star.
Joining the fray is Adebisi Micheal, the disabled man who shared photos from a football viewing centre he said he opened two months ago.
The man, who attracted admiration from Nigerians on Twitter, said he his hoping to clinch Davido’s grant to augment his business.
I started football viewing center two months ago and all I could afford was a tv, a stabilizer and a small generator. I can't show more than a match at a time and also battling with a faultful generator. I would love to have two more televisions, a UPS, a fan and a standby gen. https://t.co/IpG7kQggsP pic.twitter.com/B5DoFQduiB

In November 2021, Davido had taken to his Twitter handle to ask his followers and friends to send him money.
He had first stated that he was soliciting funds to facilitate the clearance of his Rolls Royce car at the ports.
With a target of N100 million initially set for the fundraiser, Davido would later amass up to N200 million.
In a surprise twist, the singer added N50 million to the fundraiser and donated the largesse to orphanage homes.
Davido has, over his 11-year music career, made a name for himself in the entertainment landscape.
He has pulled off international collaborations and achieved four critically acclaimed bodies of work.
Davido made headlines after he sold out his O2 concert, a feat that has become a hallmark of success for many.
