Dino Melaye, senator representing Kogi West, celebrated his Soul Train themed birthday party last weekend.

Soul Train is an American musical variety television program which aired from 1971 until 2006.
The senator, who turned a year older on January 1, lined up a series of activities to celebrate his birthday.
Melaye visited an Internally Displaced Person’s (IDP) camp, held a church thanksgiving service and rounded up the celebration with the Soul Train themed party.

“Soul train party to mark my day yesterday”, the senator wrote on Instagram, where he also shared photos from the shindig which took place in his house.
