Denola Grey, who is famous for his exquisite fashion, has recently delved into acting with a new TV show on Mo Abudu’s Ebony Life.
Grey, in his first attempt at acting, took on the role of Ben Castle in the legal series ‘Castle & Castle’.
“I just wrapped up my new show,” he said while speaking to TheCable Lifestyle at the ‘Moms at War’ premiere on Sunday.
“My new show is out on Ebony Life, ‘Castle and Castle’. It was my first time acting so it’s been so interesting.
“I had the best castmates and the best support system. RMD, Dakore Egbuson, Deyemi Okanlanwo, they were all so amazing to me. They really helped me out on set.”
Grey singled out Mo Abudu, the head of Ebony Life, for praise, describing her as a “blessing”.
“Mo Abudu is my heart, I love her so much,” he said. “Aunty Mo, as I call her, she’s such a blessing to me.”
In spite of his foray into acting, Grey said he will continue to work on his fashion consultancy and blogging.
‘Castle & Castle’ may just be the start as the fashionista disclosed that he has landed a movie role.
“I just landed a new role in a movie, I can’t say which but you’ll find out soon,” he said.
“I don’t know if acting is going to be long term. I never really make any solid plans.
“I just go with the flow and that always takes me somewhere else.”
