In the teaser, for a yet-to-be-released podcast episode, Igwe claimed he started the comedy with a camera belonging to his boss but Mark Angel monetised it without his consent.

He said the channel was earning $160,000 monthly at some point but Angel was paying him N50,000.

Igwe also alleged that people who speak against Angel “either die or get involved in an accident”.

“I was the one that started Mark Angel Comedy. Mark was the elder brother of the house. He was a security in Kilimanjaro, Port Harcourt. I was learning photography with a man called Ifeanyi,” Igwe narrated.

“So I stole the camera. In our own free time, I will do comedy.

“So Mark said we should open a Facebook page and I agreed but I didn’t know when it was monetised but I kept doing it.

“Suddenly in 2020, he bought a car so I asked how he got money to buy a car. He said someone gave it to him.

“So I said okay but the thing is I have not received N1000 since that time.

“So he started paying Emmanuella N20,000 monthly. In 2016 was the first time he gave me N50,000. He said I should hold it, saying, ‘You know this thing doesn’t bring money’.

“We were making $160,000 then. The only person that can talk about him is me because I’m an orphan, he can’t kill me.

“People say if you talk about him, you will die.

“I was scared because he would just finish you. If you have a problem with him, it’s either you die or get involved in an accident.”
