DAVIDO, CHIOMA WELCOME TWINS

The Afrobeats star, last week, spoke about his newborn twins with Chioma Adeleke, his wife.

The couple welcomed their babies — nearly a year after the loss of Ifeanyi, their three-year-old son.

In a recent interview, Davido opened up about the challenges he faced after the loss of his son.

He also highlighted the importance of having faith and a supportive team that helps him to stay focused.

“It is very hard. A lot of people who those things happened to, you will never want to believe in God ever in your life,” he said.

“But to still have faith and to still be able to do what I love, having a great team around me, just focusing and now we are almost at the finish line.

“When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month. My son passed last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October so it is crazy.”

OXLADE: WHY I DROPPED OUT OF LASU 

Oxlade said he dropped out of the Lagos State University (LASU) after threats to join a cult group.

Oxlade revealed that he left school during his final year after some suspected cultists attacked his roommates.

He said he evaded the attack because his grandmother called him days before the incident to visit her in Ibadan, Oyo.

JADA PINKETT OPENS ON RELATIONSHIP WITH WILL SMITH

Jada Pinkett, the wife of Will Smith, the US actor, revealed they have been separated since 2016.

The actress said seven years ago, she and Will decided “to live completely separate lives” after being “too exhausted with trying”.

“Why our relationship fractured that is a lot of things and by the time we got to 2016, we were too exhausted with trying,” she said.

Jada also said she could not divorce Will because of his sense of humour.

WIZKID’S MUM BURIED IN LAGOS

Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of Wizkid, was laid to rest in Lagos.

She passed away on August 18. The cause of her death was, however, not disclosed.

The four-day event began with a candlelight procession on Wednesday, a wake-keeping, and then a burial ceremony. 

On Sunday, the ceremony concluded with a thanksgiving service held in Lagos. 

Born on July 14, 1957, Jane is survived by Muniru Olatunji Balogun, her husband, and four children, including Wizkid. 

OAP DOTUN RESUMES CHILD CUSTODY BATTLE WITH EX-WIFE

Dotun Kayode, the media personality, resumed his child custody battle with Omotayo, claiming he is being denied access to his children.

The OAP alleged that he bore Omotayo and her family’s “evil for a year”, and had grown weary.

In her reaction, Omotayo revealed that she is in a custody dispute with Dotun to protect their kids from the abuse she alleged she has had to deal with while being married to the OAP.

She also added that her lawyers have initiated contact to allow Dotun to see their children.

Omotayo and Dotun tied the knot in 2013. The marriage is blessed with two kids.

Last December, Omotayo filed for a divorce based on allegations of forced abortion.
