AY Makun over the weekend broke his silence about his nearly two-decade rift with Basketmouth.

AY said Basketmouth used to connect him to perform at events when he was starting out in the comedy business.

“Usually, what we get at that time is ₦30,000. ₦30,000 at that time was everything to me,” AY said.

“I got this job and the people weren’t too happy to see me because they were expecting a Basketmouth to come.

“I decided to ask for ₦30,000 and he said this person hasn’t remitted. He said they were not happy.”

AY said it was when he shared a picture of his chats with both parties that a fight broke out.

He said he was not at odds with Basketmouth at the time but the incident triggered the feud.

WHITE MONEY VS VICTORIA INYAMA

White Money, the 2021 BBNaija winner, was last week provoked following the controversial remark by Victoria Inyama, the actress, about his mother.

The reality star stirred up a hornet’s nest on social media platforms after sharing a post where he said “no woman is out of a man’s league as long as he has money.”

Inyama, who seemed displeased by White Money’s remark, blamed it on the “kind” of woman who raised him.
