Twice or thrice a year, fans of both Davido and Wizkid engage in social media debates to argue about who is the superior of the pair.
One of such debates currently rages on, and this time around, the ‘IF’ singer ignited the spark.
Davido on Saturday put up a Snapchat post which read: “Nah pon pon sound they reign now oo!! No Jonze, all other sounds nah the least for now.”
Wizkid’s upcoming EP is entitled ‘Sounds From The Other Side’.
To fans, Davido’s inclusion of “other sounds” in his Snapchat post was a veiled swipe at the ‘Come Closer’ singer.
While reactions were slowly piling up on various social media platforms, Wizkid added fuel to the growing fire by tweeting remarks that similarly appear to be directed at Davido.
