The Nigerian music stars’ albums were nominated in the ‘Rest of Africa’ category – a section of the awards that recognises musicians that are not from South Africa but have made a tremendous impact in African music during the stipulated year.

The South African Music Awards’ official Twitter page announced the nominations on Wednesday.

Other artists in the category and their body of works include ‘Midnight Train’ by Sauti Sol, ‘Unity Album’ by Buffalo Souljah, and ‘Songs in The Key of Love’ by Berita.
