Krane took to Twitter to raise alarm and call the attention of the police to people loitering around his home.

The singer said one of Davido’s “boys” named AB Kush also attempted to break into his car with him locked in.

Krane didn’t speak of any altercation between him and Davido but said the events were captured on CCTV camera.

“Davido sent his boys to attack me but they failed. Thanks to the safety and security measures by the government. I have a full video of David’s boy AB Kush trying to force my car door open and attack me,” Dammy Krane tweeted.

“This same guy also came sneaking around my house after this attempt. All attempts were caught by the security surveillance cameras. This is that to life.

“Not safe to leave my house at this point. They have been sneaking around my house. It’s all on [the] footage.”

Reacting to the tweet, Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos police spokesperson, asked that Krane files a formal complaint or have a relative do so for him.

“Lodge a formal complaint at the nearest police station. Kindly detail a friend/relative/lawyer to lodge a complaint on your behalf. It will be taken up,” the police PRO said.

As of the time of this report, Davido had yet to publicly speak on or refute Dammy Krane’s allegations against him.

Conflicts degenerating into physical confrontations between singers and their industry cohorts aren’t uncommon.

In March 2021, Kashy Godson, a one-time CEO of the label Cash Nation to which the singer Barry Jhay signed, was declared dead in Ghana after he was reported to have plunged down from his apartment’s balcony in suicide.

The incident occurred after a video surfaced showing Godson and Barry Jhay, a Nigerian, had engaged in a fight.

This led to assumptions on social media that the singer had something to do with the death of the record producer.

Following a probe, the police issued a report stating that Barry Jhay had exited the building before the plunge.

On October 5, 2022, Mohbad, one of the signees of Naira Marley, the controversial Nigerian street singer, raised alarm over what he described as a “physical assault” dealt on him under Marlian Records and threats to his life.

In a previous altercation with his label associates, he called on the public to blame Naira Marley if he is killed.

“I don’t want to die. Everybody in the world, if I die it’s Marlian Music [of] Naira Marley killed me. They’ve been doing bad things to me. I went mad because of this issue. Now they’re trying to kill me,” the singer had stated.
