In a recent livestream, with content creator Carter Efe, the Grammy-nominated singer acknowledged that while people often mock their relationship, it is one of profound trust and loyalty.
He framed the steadfast friendship as a source of personal strength, describing Israel as a confidant he can lean on during troubled times.
Turning his attention to his hosts, Davido expressed admiration for the collaborative partnership between Carter Efe and fellow content creator Kolu.
He described their journey as “something beautiful to watch,” noting the joy they bring to their audience.
“Seeing your journey with Kolu. It is beautiful to just see the relationship between you guys. It is just like our people always laugh me and Israel, but at the end of the day, that is one of my best friends. That is someone I can cry to. And then it is just life,” he said.
“I am sure you do not know the amount of joy that you guys put on people’s lives. People that are going through stuffs. For making something out of who you are.”
