In the clip, the singer is seen sitting in the driver’s seat alongside his benefactor who was referred to as “Ochacho”.

The vehicle is then surrounded by Davido’s friend as well as members of his entourage who hailed both of them.

It is understood that the brand new car, an LX 570 2020, was presented to him as a Christmas gift in Benue on Friday.

“There are friends and there are brothers. See what my brother did for me. Since I met you, I’ve never seen anyone like you in my life. For what you do and the spirit you have, God bless you,” Davido told his benefactor in Pidgin English.

“Two of my cars got spoilt last week. To fix them would have cost me up to about 20 million. My guys were complaining and I told them not to worry. I told them I was going to Otukpo. I got here and you did it for me.”

Davido had earlier made headlines after he fulfilled his promise to be the best man at the wedding of his driver.
