Davido on Sunday gifted his personal assistant an oil truck to set up his oil and gas business.

The singer gave Lateef Biola, who is supposedly his assistant, the gift on the occasion of his birthday.

“Happy birthday bro, you’ve been with me since I was 12 even before I thought about doing music,” he wrote on Instagram.

“You said you wanted to set up an oil and gas company. It’s your birthday so I went and got you a tanker.

“Sha give me free diesel, congrats to Latino oil and gas.”

Earlier in the year, the ‘Fall on You’ singer sponsored the education of Utibe, a 5-year-old boy who had been caught on camera singing one of his latest releases, ‘IF’.

The video went viral after it was shared by an Instagram with the username ‘Shamrock80s’.

After that incident, the Afropop artiste shared pictures of the house he was constructing for the boy and his mother.

The video was said to have been recorded when the boy was seated outside a school waiting for his sister because their mother could not afford to send them both to school.

The singer has been known to be magnanimous towards fans on social media.
