The Nigerian singer shared the soundtrack via his Twitter page on Friday, enthusing that the music is “for Africa”.

Davido’s enlistment in the soundtrack comes after the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the World Cup.

The Black Stars of Ghana qualified for the World Cup on Tuesday after playing a 1-1 draw with Nigeria.

This earned Ghana one of the five tickets for African representatives at the tournament billed for Qatar this year.

Davido has, over his 11-year music career, made a name for himself in the entertainment landscape.

He has pulled off international collaborations and achieved four critically acclaimed bodies of work.

The singer made headlines after he sold out his O2 concert, a feat that is a hallmark of success for many artistes.

Last month, Davido said many people thought he would not go far as a musician due to his wealthy background.
