Davido, the award-winning Afrobeats star, has confirmed the date for his wedding with Chioma Adeleke, his partner.
There were rumours that the couple planned to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony on June 25 in Lagos.
The singer however confirmed the speculations during a courtesy visit to Tobi Adegboyega, founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), in London.
In a video posted via Adegboyega’s Instagram on Tuesday, the ‘Unavailable’ hitmaker was seen asking friends present at the gathering to “come to Nigeria” for the wedding.
“Guys, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th of June for my wedding,” he said.

The announcement has, however, triggered confusion among his fans. This was because, in March last year, the 31-year-old singer confirmed that he and Chioma were officially married.
“I travelled, I am married. A lot of different things but we are ready now to get back on the road,” he had said.
Davido engaged Chioma in 2019.
But their union temporarily hit the rocks in 2021 amid allegations that the singer was in another relationship.
The couple lost Ifeanyi, their first child together, on October 30, 2022.
The lovebirds welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023.
Davido has established himself as one of the leading names in the Nigerian music industry.
