The Nigerian Twittersphere has been set abuzz over claims that Davido and Burna Boy, two music heavyweights, engaged in a brawl at a nightclub in Ghana on Sunday.

It was gathered that the incident occurred at Twist nightclub in the west-African country where the singers were said to have gone for a concert. Wizkid was also said to have attended the event.

In one of the videos making the rounds on social, the ‘OBO’ crooner is seen wearing an angry look while being taken away by few men believed to be his aides.

In a post on his Twitter page on Monday, Samuel Oguachuba, a singer better known as Samklef, said the two music stars indeed had an altercation at the club.

According to Samklef, the incident happened when boys loyal to Davido attempted to prevent the ‘African Giant’ crooner from entering the same nightclub with the ‘Risky’ singer.

“I just confirmed that Na as I post am Na him e take happen for Ghana. From a reliable source,” he wrote in Pidgin.

“As Burna Boy enter the club the place wey he dey go he no know say Davido Dey there. As he reach there Davido boys start to disturb burnaboy. Na so violence start!”

As of the time of this report, neither Davido nor Burna Boy has commented on the rumoured clash.

The two singers have continued to make the headlines over what seemed to be an unending superiority tussle alongside Wizkid.

The ‘FEM’ singer had sparked controversies earlier this year when he declared himself and Wizkid as Nigeria’s greatest artistes of all time.

News of the rumoured clash has since ignited a heated conversation on Twitter with many Nigerians taking to the microblogging platform to comment on the incident.
