In a Twitter post, the ‘OBO’ crooner disclosed that he officially opened the house on Thursday.

“I open my new house today! 2022 all blessings. Amen!” he wrote in the terse post.

He also took to his Instagram story to confirm the location of the new house.

Several Nigerians have since taken to the comment section of the Twitter post to congratulate the music star.

Davido has established himself as a household name in the global music industry with numerous hit projects, awards and recognition.

Last month, the ‘Risky’ crooner had started a fundraiser on Twitter, which he initially said was for the clearance of his Rolls Royce vehicle at the ports.

But after raking N200 million from the initiative, he added N50 million and declared that the funds would be used to support orphans.

The fundraiser was initiated using Wema Bank, which later offered him an endorsement deal.

The DMW boss had recently claimed he made $22.3 million in 2021 alone, despite not putting out an album.

He had also said he was not aware he came from a rich home until he clocked 13.

“I didn’t even know we were rich until like 13 because he lived so normally. He was a billionaire driving a Honda. He had a silver Honda Accord, he had a driver, my mum had like a Toyota or so or a Honda truck,” he had said.

“They lived so modestly until we moved out of the house to the new house. So, we got to the new house and I’m like ‘oh we lit!’.”
