Shade Ladipo, the Nigerian media personality, has aimed a thinly-veiled dig at Mercy Aigbe after the Nollywood star flaunted her new partner on social media.
Aigbe had on Sunday revealed that she is dating Kazim Adeoti — after keeping her fans in the dark about her relationship for months.
The development has continued to elicit several reactions as some reports claimed that Adeoti is already married with children.
In a post via her Instagram story on Monday, Ladipo appeared to have faulted the film star’s choice of partner, wondering why she decided to date a married man.
“My gender sha. So, you see a married man with a whole family and you camp there. You don’t see your worth being beyond second fiddle or a possible family destroyer,” she wrote in a mixture of Pidgin and English.
“How are you even attracted to a married man? uggghh. You are over 30 and still sleeping with married men then I feel for you (under 30 you are still foolish so I excuse your behavior). Sorry because you don’t know your worth.”
Although she did not mention names, her post comes a few hours after the actress took to her social media page to flaunt Adeoti.
In 2017, Aigbe separated from Lanre Gentry, her ex-husband, over alleged domestic violence and infidelity.
Apparently, she has not been in any attention-seeking relationship until she recently showed off Adeoti.
It is understood that Adeoti is a businessman with an interest in the entertainment industry.
The entrepreneur is also a partner and an investor with Ibaka TV, a video-on-demand platform for Nollywood movies.
