Pascal Okechukwu, a nightlife promoter better known as Cubana Chief Priest, says he will be taking legal action over claims he attacked and punched a woman.
The internet was earlier awash with rumours that the controversial barman absconded after assaulting a woman, with the alleged victim claiming Cubana punched her face as she was working at Cubana, Owerri.
In a lengthy post made via his Instagram page, the internet celebrity alleged plots to smear his reputation by certain individuals and brands.
He also revealed that his legal team will be taking action on it.
“My attention has been drawn to a post from a staff of LEDROP Nigeria @ledropnigeria @glenfiddichwhisky @remymartin @champagnelaurentperrier etc. on a defamatory post about me saying I punched a woman but the pic. shown no fit be a punch from a man of my KG,” he wrote.
“I’m a lover and proud supporter of women, a happily married man with kids. My biggest dream is to have a baby girl of my own which God in his infinite mercy will soon grant. I have instructed my legal team to take action, urging the Nigerian police to investigate properly this false accusation.
“This brand wrote to all my partners saying I’m a violent person that was why they did not renew my contract with them. I brought out this said brand from inception, introduced it, and sold it out. Attached is their letter to my brands trying to strip me of all my numerous mouth-watering deals.
“Also attached is my last email with them, where they were asking for a renewal which I refused. Let me leave it here for now. I can’t work with you @ledropnigeria forever. I moved from good to best. I don’t know why you have to be pained about my latest whiskey commercial trending.”
