Okeke Godwin Chukwuemeka, a corps member serving in Akure, Ondo state, has been reported missing.

The corps member, who hails from Enugu state, was said to have gone missing a month before the completion of his service.

Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle on Thursday, Joshua Ameh, Chukwuemeka’s cousin, confirmed that he has been missing since last month.

Ameh said before his whereabouts became unknown, Chukwuemeka served at the Shiloh Embassy Spiritual Defense Academy in Akure.

He said pictures of the corps member have been shared on social media. He added that the incident had been reported to the police.

“I came to know about the issue of my missing brother about three weeks ago. That was when it came to my knowledge,” he said.

“He has been missing for a month now or a month plus, but I don’t know the specific date.

“He was a corps member serving at Shiloh Embassy Spiritual Defense Academy located at number 4 road C, Onipomo junction in Akure, Ondo state. His mother is not very much available because he is my distant cousin.

“Anyone with useful information on his whereabouts should please call 09040220553 or contact the nearest police station.”

The police in Ondo and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have yet to comment on the development.
