Precious Conceptions, a family building consultancy that offers personalised services to intending parents, is organising a one-day conception boot camp.

The conception boot camp meeting is a day event that focuses on helping intending parents maximise their ability to conceive naturally or with ART, whilst successfully managing other major areas of their lives which infertility does take a toll on.

Toyin Lolu-Ogunmade, the convener who also experienced a delay in conception for thirteen years before she conceived a set of twin, said, “the major thrust of this event is to break the misconceptions and confusion surrounding infertility and assist intending parents on ways they can improve their chances at natural or assisted conception. To managing emotions, finances, and improving intimacy with their spouse”.

She added: “Our niche as a holistic practice hinges on the fact that infertility is not only a medical situation, but that it comes with multi-faceted challenges which are often overwhelming when left unmanaged.”

Billed to speak are Dr. Faye Iketubosin, Dr. Yemisi Adeyemi-Bero, Dr. Patrick Ijewere a wellness & nutrition specialist and Toyin Lolu-Ogunmade who will be sharing her personal story amongst many other seasoned fertility experts.

The event will help participants focus on other complementary areas, “and how improving them will ultimately help them achieve their results, and to help them manage their lives better with or without children”.

The boot camp is set to take place on October 1 at the Marigold Hall, Access Training school, 92 Allen Avenue Ikeja.
