Cobhams Asuquo, a record producer responsible for several successful songs, is set to release his debut album.
The visually impaired producer announced this on Friday, saying the album has taken him five years to put together.
Cobhams said: “Folks, if there is something I love to do, it’s drive. I don’t get to do it often, but I love it when I do it.
“Let me tell you what I love, even more, it’s making great music for you and that is because I know you deserve it.
“That is why on the 12th of March, something special is happening. My album is finally coming out.
“I’m excited about it. It took me five years to make it, working around the world, exploring different artistes and musicians.
“But I’m happy that it’s happening now.”
Besides producing for others, Cobhams is a singer/songwriter and has been actively involved in the Nigerian music scene for over a decade.
He has produced for the likes of Asa, Bez, Praiz, Modenine, Banky W, Timi Dakolo, Darey Art-Alade, and many others.
The musician released his first single Ordinary People in January 2014. He subsequently put out Star of Wonder, Stronger Than Before and Boosit featuring Falz.
Cobhams, who has won several awards for his production efforts, was once signed to Sony ATV London as a songwriter.
He is credited for producing Asa’s eponymous classic debut album.
