The Chief Information Officers (CIO) has called for nominations ahead of the 2022 awards.

The organisers of the annual event announced the opening of nominations in an e-flier put out on Thursday.

The award event honours organizations that have “achieved milestones in the course of delivering their roles”.

It also celebrates individuals who have “worked tirelessly in private, government, and charitable organizations”.

Nominations are to be filed and submitted on CIO’s website.

“CIOs have set a benchmark of hard work and have transformed sectors not just in Nigeria but globally,” it said.

“The CIO Awards ceremony is an online and onsite syndicated event that will include delightful networking, entertainment, and insightful delivery.

“Winners of the CIO Awards earn the exclusive right to become members of The CIO Club Africa (TCCA).

“The CIO Club is a group of stakeholders in the industry whose main objectives are to uphold ethics, promote growth, and share insights.

“TCC will organize round table meetings, seminars, and conferences geared towards educating the general populace and sustaining the industry.”

The CIO Awards is organized by Edniesal Consulting Limited (ECL), an enterprise governance firm.

ECL prides itself as a body recognising “unique sets of people at the forefront of driving digital transformation.”
