Chris Pratt, American actor renowned for his role in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, Marvel’s 2014 superhero film, has tied the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger in a romantic California wedding.
The union sees the 39-year-old film star become an in-law to Arnold Schwarzenegger, having married his 29-year-old eldest daughter in Montecito’s San Ysidro Ranch, on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
TMZ reports that Maria Shriver, Californian journalist and a longtime family friend of Schwarzeneggers, held a lavish rehearsal celebration with the bride on the eve of the wedding at Rob Lowe’s house.
Pratt, who was previously married to Anna Faris, reportedly proposed to Katherine in January 2019 and thereafter shared the news with fans via his Instagram handle on Katherine’s acceptance.
The duo were first spotted in June 2018. They then made their relationship official in December 2018. Prat, who had fathered a 6-year-old son with his ex-wife, was reported to have ensured that Schwarzenegger gets along with Ann.
“Anna and Katherine have met a few times and get along and that was very important to Chris. Anna is excited for Chris and Katherine and above all is happy Chris is with someone who loves Jack like their own. Chris had the approval of the family and everyone is excited for their union,” ET reports.
