Chris Brown, the American musician, has enlisted Wizkid, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, for ‘Breezy’, his forthcoming album.
Although he has been teasing the project since 2020, Brown said he will be releasing his tenth studio album on June 24, via Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records.
The ‘Excuse Me Miss’ singer took to his Instagram story in the early hours of Friday to also put out the names of artistes he supposedly featured in the album.
Among those featured in the body of work are Wizkid, Lil Wayne, HER, Yung Bleu, Jack Harlow, EST Gee, Anderson Paak, Fivio Foreign, Ella Mai, Tory Lanez, and Blxst.
This isn’t their first collaboration.
In 2017, Wizkid had teamed up with Brown for ‘African Bad Gyal’, a track off ‘Sounds From The Other Side’, an album that consisted of 12 songs.
‘Breezy’ is coming on the back of ‘Indigo,’ Brown’s 2019 album which featured ‘No Guidance,’ his Grammy-nominated single with Drake.
Born Christopher Maurice Brown, the singer has had a career that spans many years.
The Grammy-winning music star is considered one of the most influential and successful R&B singers ever.
Apart from his nine albums, Brown also has nine collaborative mixtapes to his credit.
He has pursued an acting career and featured in a number of movies throughout the years.
