Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Nigerian writer, has been featured in Vanity Fair’s 2016 edition of the International Best-Dressed List (IBDL).
Adichie is in fine company with the likes of Helen Mirren, Moses Berkson, Justin Trudeau, and H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
Vanity Fair’s IBDL has been an authroity in deciding the world’s most fashionable figures since 1940.
The list considers fashionable women, men, professionals and it honours some outstanding individuals with special citation and includes those who have “displayed exceptional style throughout the years” into its hall of fame.
Fashion savvy couples, individuals with legendary style and stylish Hollywood stars also make the list.
Adichie, whose style is ethnic, African and colourful, revealed to Vanity Fair, five of her favourite fashion choices and style idol.

Favourite scent: Fresh’s Hesperides Grapefruit.
Favourite shoes: My Nicholas Kirkwood bendy-heeled pumps and Jimmy Choo booties.
Favourite purchase of the year: MM6 by Maison Margiela black dress.
Style Idol: Michelle Obama.
