Davido, Cardi B, and Chris Evans were among celebrities who have reacted to the invasion of United States’ Capitol Hill by protesters.
Thousands of demonstrators loyal to President Donald Trump had stormed the Capitol Hill on Wednesday while the certification of Joe Biden was ongoing.
The incident has continued to stir heated discussions across the globe with several celebrities taking to their individual social media pages to also air their different opinions on the incident.
Hart had earlier condemned the invasion, alleging that the development was further indicative of the rising racial discrimination between whites and blacks in America.
Evans, who seemed to corroborate Hart’s opinion, took to his Twitter page and wrote: “Just think of the carnage had they not been white.”

Davido, a Nigerian singer, also called out Trump over the incident, enjoining him to rather accept defeat.
“Trump .. u done out here,” the ‘OBO’ crooner wrote in a terse post.

In the same vein, Pink, an American singer, described the development as a sad day in the country’s history.
“As a United States citizen, and the daughter of two veterans, and the sister of another, I am ashamed of what is happening in Washington,” she wrote.

While the rest of the world watches these images, may they also read and see that the vast majority of Americans are outraged by what we are seeing. May they know that the vast majority of us condemn this violence and may they also look to our new president @JoeBiden.

It’s a good thing this wasn’t a BLM rally or else these assholes would have actual riot police to deal with.

Unimaginable.
Disgraceful.
Shocking.
But no surprise.
So many to hold responsible. You know who you are.
You dismissed the violent, divisive, cruel rhetoric. You made excuses.

This is either a dereliction of duty by the Capital Police or a complicit desire to not plan for the known threat of chaos today. Either way, this is inexcusable. If you can be prepared for imaginary ANTIFA protestors, you had no business not prepping for these actual terrorists.
