Sodiq Yusuf, the Nigerian rapper better known as CDQ, says he will reveal “secret” information about Davido and Chioma at midnight.
On June 25, Davido, the Afrobeats star, traditionally married Chioma Rowland, his long-term partner.
In a post via his Instastory on Thursday, CDQ claimed there is a secret between the ‘Timeless’ hitmaker and his wife he intends to reveal.
The indigenous hip-hop rapper said he has remained quiet since the beginning of the year but will break his silence at midnight.
“Through out this year I decided not to say anything but now I am ready to tell you all a big secret between Davido and Chioma,” he wrote.
“12 midnight 🕛 tonigh. #onenight.”
CDQ rose to prominence after putting out ‘Nowo E Soke’, a 2015 hit single, wherein he featured Wizkid.
He has since then established himself as a popular figure in the Nigerian music industry.
In November 2016, the rapper launched his own record label N.S.N.S — a short form for No Struggle No Success Entertainment.
In December 2022, CDQ revealed he was hospitalised for a life-threatening ailment.
Davido, on the other hand, proposed to Chioma in 2019.
Their relationship, however, faced challenges in 2021 amid allegations of the singer’s involvement in another relationship.
The couple lost Ifeanyi, their first child together, on October 30, 2022.
However, in March 2023, the singer disclosed that he and Chioma had officially married.
“I travelled. I am married. A lot of different things but we are ready now to get back on the road,” he said.
The couple welcomed a set of twins in the United States in October 2023.
