Sodiq Yusuf, the rapper who is also known as CDQ, has found fault with the latest song teaser by Asake, the YBNL artiste.

In the early hours of Sunday, Asake shared a video that gave a glimpse into what fans should expect in his forthcoming song.

In the yet-to-be-titled song, Asake was captured delivering his lyrics in a mixture of English language and Yoruba. 

“Ere mo bawa kosi ja/Sokoto penpe aye nika/yebo yeba formation lo ba aye ja/omo iya ko stay wise/tranquility tranquility I no get time to dey form activity/ko le kalas to fine stability,” the lyrics read.

“Money lo ni infinity/kosi chances kosi probability to see a better version of me with agility/no you can’t fake reality/ogun principality and calamity motilo mo ti payen ti/bebe no dey for jiji/mo si n wa ntiti.”

While a number of celebrities and fans lavished Asake with praises over his music dexterity, CDQ said he expected the singer “to do better than this.”

The rapper added that the music teaser looks similar to ‘Palazzo’, the hit song by DJ Spinall featuring Asake.

“Sounds like Palazzo 👂 he can do better than this tho,” he wrote in the comment section of a blog post.
