Chukwuka Monye, director general of Delta Economic Summit Group (DESG), will be training 30 individuals for free on leadership, entrepreneurship and mentorship at an upcoming concourse.
According to Monye, the current challenges in various parts of the world present the need to orientate young Nigerians in whose hands the many spheres of the economy will lie in the near future.
“This concourse, holding in partnership with V8 Africa, Business Day, TheCable and Invicta Africa, is the first in a series of free comprehensive teaching and training workshops/ seminars, targeted at emerging leaders of various socio-economic sectors.
“It will be a convergence of 30 serious-minded and forward-thinking individuals, who through activities within their own sphere, are clearly seen to be poised to constitute part of the arrowheads that will facilitate the making of a new Nigeria and by extension, a new Africa.”
“The ultimate goal of this concourse is to equip the participants with the requisite knowledge of how to navigate the Nigerian/African business terrain and to also capacitate them further, by the provision of practical and applicable home-grown solutions to the peculiar vocational and even personal challenges which they may be faced with.”
Interested parties are expected to apply after which a selection committee will review applications based on merit and select attendees.
