‘Namaste Wahala’, a romantic comedy movie, has united Bollywood and Nollywood, two of the world’s biggest movie industries, and featured some of the biggest film stars in Nigeria and India.
The movie, which is set for theatrical release on April 24, is the film debut of Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, an Indian businesswoman-cum-filmmaker.
She took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share the first poster for the movie.
In the poster, a couple can be seen adorned in elaborate wedding regalia, suggesting that its storyline will be accompanied by a blend of two divergent cultures.
“This project is close to my heart as it’s my first movie. It’s also the first-ever that brings Nollywood and Bollywood together,” she wrote.
