In a stunning turn of events, Bright Morgan and Thelma Lawson have been evicted from the BBNaija season 10 house.
The surprise double eviction was announced by the show’s host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu who entered the house immediately following the weekly Saturday night party.
After a brief chat with the housemates, Ebuka delivered the shocking news, cutting short the journeys of both Bright and Thelma.
Their eviction caps off a week of intense strategizing and competition for immunity.
Earlier in the week, Big Brother tasked all housemates — except the head of house (HoH), Zita — with finding a hidden red envelope containing a powerful immunity card.
Imisi successfully located the envelope, securing her safety from eviction.
Further shaking up the nominations, Faith was granted automatic safety after being voted the week’s ‘Most Influential Housemate’ by his peers.
As head of house, Zita was given a unique privilege: she was asked to pick a card from the ‘Tree of Temptation’ which granted her the power to save one housemate. She chose to save Rooboy.
These actions automatically placed all remaining housemates on the eviction list, leaving their fate in the hands of the viewers’ votes.
The BBNaija season 10 edition kicked off with a two-day opening ceremony. The female housemates were unveiled first on July 26.
The male contestants were ushered into the show on July 27, making it a total of 29 housemates.
This year’s winner will take home a staggering N150 million — the highest grand prize in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
