According to a statement released on the streaming service’s blog on Wednesday, the “still-untitled project”, which focuses on the origin story of Queen Charlotte, will have exciting acting talents like India Amarteifio from ‘Line of Duty, Michelle Fairley of ‘Gangs of London’, Corey Mylchreest of ‘Sandman’, and Arsema Thomas.

“Amarteifio portrays Young Queen Charlotte, who learns to navigate palace life after finding herself betrothed to the King of England against her will, while Fairley takes on the role of Princess Augusta, a royal determined to do whatever it takes to maintain her family’s power,” the statement read.

“Mylchreest will play Young King George, described as ‘handsome, charismatic, and a bit of a mystery,’ and Thomas will step into the character of the Young Lady Danbury, who becomes a guiding light for the new queen as she grows into the powerful woman we all know and love from the Bridgerton series.”
