Ossai Success, the aide to Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta state governor, has tackled Ashmusy, the skit maker, for announcing she’s still a virgin.

The 27-year-old recently disclosed that she will keep her virginity till marriage.

“I promised myself to remain a virgin till marriage. I’m so glad I have kept that promise. Dear future hubby I hope you are worth the wait,” she had written on social media.

But in a Facebook post, Success said it is an act of stupidity for a lady to come online and brag about her virginity.

The governor’s aide also said being a virgin does not make one a good wife.

“Being a virgin doesn’t makes you a wife material. It’s act of stupidity for anyone to come online boasting about her virginity and using it as a criteria of being a good wife material to her future hubby,” he wrote.

“Keeping your virginity is the best gift a woman can give to her husband but coming online to tell the world that you are a virgin is absolutely stupidity.

“To the young ladies out there, please do everything possible to keep your virginity for your husband but don’t be tempted to come online to tell the world about it.”

The governor’s aide argued that coming online to brag about virginity could put the skit maker at risk of “some bad guys out there”.

“Yes, I commend Ashmusy for keeping her virginity but at the same I condemned her for coming online to disclose the status of her virginity,” he added.

“Ashmusy should have made her virginity a secret gift to her future husband and not coming online to tell us.

“In case she doesn’t know, she is putting her virginity at risk because there are so many bad guys out there. I pray God to protect her.”
