Bolanle Olukanni, media personality, and Tobi Bakre, ex-Big Brother Nigeria housemate, have been announced as hosts of The Future Awards 2018.
The award, which will hold on December 16, will take place on December 16, 2018, at The Balmoral Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.
The hosts for the show was announced on Monday by the award’s central working committee.
According to a statement by the organisers, the duo will do the honors at an event that will “unveil 20 outstanding individuals whose relentless hard work and unparalleled impact positions them as a symbol of a new tribe of exemplary Nigerians”.
The event, which is themed ‘Nigeria’s New Tribe’, acknowledges young people between the ages of 18 and 31 years making a difference through social enterprise, social good and creativity.
The Future Awards Africa 2018 is presented by The Future Project, Guaranty Trust Bank, and H2oh.
100 Nigerians including TheCable’s Taiwo Adebulu have been nominated in categories like journalism, music, beauty, fashion & design, professional service, sports, among others.
