Bobrisky, the self-acclaimed transgender, says he charges over N50 million to promote brands on social media for a duration of six months.
The Snapchat celebrity spoke about his foray into the business of social influencer during a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo.
In the chat, the cross-dresser said he charges brands that want to associate with his “sky-high prices because he does the job with passion”.
The graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) added that he has numerous source of income but enjoys keeping his followers inquisitive because that is what always keeps him in the news.
“For my endorsement deal, I charge for 6 months, depends on the brand I’m influencing for, I charge over 50 million naira, because I do it with passion,” he said.
“I’m this person that like to influence, to talk, to show off, so people want to watch me, they are so interested in me.
“The brands see the effects of what i put out there and if I tell them I’m collecting an amount of money, no brand will tell me ‘no i won’t pay, they will pay.
“Most times, I’m this person that allows people to say different things because that’s what keeps me in the news all the time. The moment I say ‘let me explain to you guys, this is where the money is coming from’, I don’t think I’ll be trending the way I’m trending.”
The controversial internet personality had earlier explained that he decided to become a woman because of money and affluence after struggling for years as a man.
“I want to be a woman because being a woman has paved a lot of ways for me. Women don’t actually know how powerful they are. They don’t know how to use their resources as a woman,” he had said.
