Blaqbonez might just be the latest Nigerian music artist to be shot by Cupid’s arrow, or maybe not.

Despite being a resolute advocate of the sex-over-love mantra, the singer suggests he has found “the right one”.

Via his Instagram page, Blaqbonez captured his lovey-dovey moments with a model identified as Gbemi Daniels.

“Love is beautiful when you find the right one. It feels wrong to continue to hide you from the world, all in the name of pushing an agenda or music,” he wrote in the caption of a video showing them both hanging out.

“You deserve more. Your friends always told you it wasn’t a real relationship and that must have been difficult.

“But last year when I lost my brother, nobody else was there for me except you, @gbemmydaniels.

“I love you and I want the whole world to know. I know it’s late but happy valentines baby.”

Blaqbonez has, on several occasions, branded himself as the hard-to-get type who favours polygamy and having multiple sexual partners as against love-based relationships.

His first album, released in 2021, was titled ‘Sex Over Love’.

Speaking about the album, he had, to the amazement of many of his fans, stated: “Sex over love is my truth. It’s me saying that this love thing is not for me. I’d rather have sex. If I had to choose, I would choose sex every day.”

In another interview, he added: “The way society portrays love is not something I can do. If you come into my life, you cannot outrank those that are already there. I’m not in a relationship. That mindset is not going to change.”

But fans of Blaqbonez are not sold on his latest reveal.

A closer look shows the singer posted yet another video on Twitter with a different lady named Stephanie Oyege.

He also followed up with a third video featuring a similar caption about no longer hiding his girl from the world.

Is Blaqbonez up to his good old social media tricks? No one knows just yet where he’s headed with this.
