Bisola Aiyeola has responded to claims that Sharon Ooja, her friend and colleague, is the fourth wife of Ugo Nwoke.
On June 27, Ooja got married to her love interest Ugo Nwoke in a traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja.
Stella Dimoko, a Nigerian blogger, subsequently alleged that Nwoke is in his early 50s and has been married three times before.
Dimoko claimed that Nwoke’s first marriage was to a white woman and that it was followed by two black women.
She claimed that his third marriage ended in 2023 and produced three sons.
“Chief Nwoke who is whispered to be in his early 50s has been married 3 times but it did not work out and he is trying for the 4th time with Sharon,” the blogger wrote.
“He was married to a white woman and two black women. His 3rd Marriage which ended in 2023 produced 3 sons.”
Reacting to these claims in the comment section, Bisola dismissed them as “lies”.
She stated that she was not surprised by the blogger’s allegations, given her history of publishing false information.
Aiyeola added that the accusations would not “dampen” Ooja’s peace.
“The lies you confidently typed are no shock to me. Na your way. But guess what, you cannot dampen my girl’s peace at all,” she wrote.
Sharon Ooja and her husband are yet to respond to the allegations.
The actress, who revealed her engagement in March, previously rebuked a critic who asked why she was “hiding” Nwoke’s identity.
Ooja called the social media critic “a dark-minded individual” and added that she would not give in to “stupidity”.
