Bill Cosby is currently facing another lawsuit as nine women have accused him of sexual assault.
AP reports that the suit, filed in federal court in Nevada on Wednesday, alleges that Cosby used his power, fame, and prestige to victimise the women.
They claimed that they were individually drugged and assaulted between 1979 and 1992 in Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe.
Lise-Lotte Lublin, a woman in the Nevada lawsuit, previously accused the comedian of drugging her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 1989.
Lublin said he stroked her hair and gave her two drinks that made her dizzy.
She said she then blacked out after he asked her to sit between his legs.
Other accusers listed in the lawsuit include Janice Dickinson, Janice Baker Kinney, Lili Bernard, Heidi Thomas, Linda Kirkpatrick, Rebecca Cooper, Pam Joy Abeyta, and Angela Leslie.
Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s spokesperson, claimed that the women pursuing legal action against Cosby are driven by their “addiction to massive amounts of media attention and greed”.
Cosby previously faced accusations of being a serial predator from approximately 60 women.
These women claimed that he used sedatives and alcohol to assault them over a period of 40 years.
Despite the numerous lawsuits, Cosby has not been criminally convicted.
He was found liable in a civil case in 2022.
In 2018, he was imprisoned in a criminal case, but his conviction was overturned on a technicality in 2021.
