The 59th edition of the Grammy awards took place at the Staples centre in Los Angeles, US, on Sunday night – and in usual Grammy style, there were fashion hits and misses.

Celine Dion

What better way to show that you are a red carpet veteran than to don a fabulous green dress with a teasing slit and plunging neckline?

Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez

JLO stoked the flames of the fashion fire with a lilac dress and silver clutch. And the hair… bone straight.

Chrissy, John Legend’s wife, flaunted her supermodel body in a black number. She’s definitely not afraid to show off some skin.

Diplo

Diplo proved that you can never go wrong with a suit if you play your cards right. The bishop collar and shoes gave the outfit a nice finish.

Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato looked like a princess from another planet and was all shades of confident in this number.

Worst Dressed

cee lo
CeeLo Green

This would probably rank as the worst outfit of the night. Only CeeLo Green can explain the inspiration behind this outfit.

Girl Crush
Girl Crush

Did someone pour glue on Girl Crush and forced her to roll in a sack of balls?

Halsey
Halsey

When you get a child out of bed and force him to attend a party without checking his outfit, this is what you get.

Skrillex
Skrillex

A jacket would have made this outfit red carpet worthy.

Katy Perry
Katy Perry

Her face and hair looked nice but the dress was a confused mess.

Santigold
Santigold

Satin, pleats and platforms. Santigold’s combination is a riot.

Tori-Kelly
Tori Kelly

Army green suits Kelly but combining frills with high and low helm can throw a dress off track.
