Benjamin Keough, the only grandson of Elvis Presley, late American iconic singer, has passed away at 27.
According to BBC, Roger Widynowski, a representative to Lisa Marie Presley, Keough’s mother, broke the sad news in a statement.
Widynowski said the deceased gave up the ghost in Calabasas, California in the United States.
The representative, however, did not reveal the cause of Keough’s death or the date he died.
The statement noted that the development had left Lisa, 52, “entirely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11 year old twins.”
“She adored that boy. He was the love of her life,” Widynowski added.
The deceased was the younger of the two children Lisa had with Danny Keough, her first husband who is a musician, until they both parted ways in 1994.
Keough’s elder sister is Riley, 31, who is an actress.
Keough is widely known for his striking resemblance to Presley, his father — a trait Lisa described as “just canny.”
Presley breathed his last in 1977 at the age of 42.
Following his demise, Lisa had short-lived marriages to Michael Jackson, US pop star and Nicolas Cage.
She would later tie the knot with Michael Lockwood, her fourth and current husband, in 2006.
