Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024. She listed April 26, as their date of separation and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

According to TMZ, Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, will maintain their separate possessions, including their private businesses and project earnings and neither will pay spousal support to the other.

As part of the agreement, Ben will keep his stake in Artists Equity, the production company he co-founded with colleague Matt Damon in 2022. He established the company four months before his marriage to Lopez.

Artists Equity has produced several notable movies, including ‘Air’, ‘Unstoppable’, ‘The Instigators’, ‘Small Things Like These’, and ‘The Accountant 2’.

On the other hand, Lopez will retain her project income from films like ‘Atlas’, ‘This Is Me… Now’, ‘The Mother’, ‘Shotgun Wedding’, and ‘Marry Me’.

The settlement also stipulates that Lopez will drop Affleck as her last name and revert to Jennifer Lynn Lopez. Additionally, the pair agreed to sell the $61 million house they bought together, although details of the sale remain private.

In October last year, Lopez revealed that the split almost “took me out for good” but she did not regret her decision.
