Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas ‘split’ after less than a year of dating

Ben Affleck, an American actor, and Ana de Armas, a Cuban-Spanish actress, have reportedly called time on their relationship.

According to TMZ, Armas initiated the break-up but the movie stars are said to still be on good terms despite their failed relationship.

The development comes less than a year after they started their romantic affair.

Affleck and Armas met in 2019 during the filming of ‘Deep Water’, an upcoming American psychological thriller, directed by Adrian Lyne.

They were said to have started their romantic relationship formally around March last year and made the headlines on numerous occasions at the time for flaunting pictures of themselves on social media.

Affleck, 48, had also introduced the 32-year-old actress to his three kids — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8, — with Jennifer Garner, his ex-wife, while they both embarked on a vacation to Cuba, Armas’ native country.

The pair were, however, last spotted together in November last year.

It was also gathered that a life-sized cardboard cutout of Armas was seen being thrown out into a trash can from inside Affleck’s residence.

Affleck, who starred as Batman in the superhero film ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)’, had also featured in several hit movies including ‘Armageddon’, ‘Pearl Harbor’, ‘The Sum of All Fears’ and ‘Changing Lanes.’

Armas, on the other hand, kickstarted her movie career as a teenager and came to the spotlight after playing the leading role in ‘Una rosa de Francia’, a romantic drama.
