Mmeli from South Africa has become the first head of house (HoH) in the ongoing Big Brother Titans (BBTitans) reality show’s maiden edition.
The reality star achieved the feat after he defeated the other housemates in a keenly-contested game on Monday evening.
The housemates came together to play the HoH games in the arena. They were asked to build paper planes.
Mmeli came out as the best-performing housemate after defeating Lukay, Olivia, and Jenni.
He now has the privilege to enjoy the luxury that comes with the HoH room for a week.
With the victory, the South African has also secured immunity against possible eviction this week.
Mmeli picked Ipeleng as his guest in the HoH room while Khosi was announced as the tail of the house (ToH).
BBTitans premiered on January 15 from 7 pm on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
It will run for 77 days and end on April 2, 2023.
The winner of the reality show is expected to go home with a grand prize of $100,000.
John Ugbe, the CEO of Multichoice Nigeria, called for entries, in October last year. He also said the Big Brother Titans would be a mix of BBNaija and Big Brother Mzansi of South Africa.
